imcb day#1HELLO. went for imcb today! i woke up at 6.30am coz i intended to practise piano but i was too sleepy so i went back to sleep. lazed around in bed until 7.15am. then i got so freaked out coz i was supposed to leave the house at 740 and i wanted to bathe. so i hurriedly bathed.
then tt NEHNEHPOK called me at 740 to tell me not to leave the house. haha. i went online to read my quizillastory before gg to meet ellie. IT IS A BAD IDEA TO GO TO THE MRT STATION AT 8AM. i was the shortest person there and i looked so out of place coz i was in skl u and everyone was wearing nice clothes to work. all the ladies were wearing HEELS. they are my height pls. then they go and wear 3inch heels and i felt so horrible.
ellie and i were extremely traumatized by the scary guy who kept talkign to himself. omg i kept looking the other way and i think i irritated the guy in front of me coz he was trying to read the newspaper :S
anw then we got off, AWAY from the scary guy who was still talking to himself. omg we were lost :S and i'll make sure that when i become a working adult, i'll drive a car or have enough money to take cab everyday. i refuse to squeeze onto the smelly dirty eeky public bus with other peoples arses at mine. it's so tiring la.
we attempted to squeeze on 95 but we gave up. haha. then we took the biopolis shuttle bus. omg so exciting x) i love the bus, minus the smelly smell. HAHA.
we were the latest. haha. oh but i like the CARD they gave us(: THEY HAVE THE LABEL OF MY NAME ON IT! x) so exciting. and they have HAND SENSORS. you wave at the sensor and the door opens! haha the jinngee guy taught us how to do the experiment. i like his accent! and his name is GINNYY. HAHA. he told such -.- jokes. haha and the ORGANIC BAR. whats an ORGANIC BAR. then he told us that curve and figure joke which was ohsolame. but he's funny!(: haha he tells lame jokes better than SOME PEOPLE.
anyway we had such boring talks. omg. i like the lab though. the HANDSENSOR DOOR! haha mich was ohsoupset coz i wasn't her partner :D i partnered this aj girl called siewchin? or sweechin. ican't rmb. she's a funny girl. HAHA. we did some protein thing then she did most of it. heh. oh yes measuring the sodium chloride and sodium acetate or dunnowhat is exciting! then we changed the pH of the solution to 4.8. that ph measurer is LOUSY. it keeps flashing like my annoying modem when i get disconnected. so lousy la. we calculated the number of MOLES. but i dunno how to count so the aj girl calculated!
lunch was at 12. but like we wasted half of it la :( went to burger king at holland v with ellie, ashley and wenhao. i left half my burger uneaten. and wenhao taught us this new chinese phrase. which ellie and i don't understand. haha running becomes a METAPHOR. took cab back to imcb since the shuttle bus refused to come. oh did i mention that i like the shuttlebus drivers. they are nice(: and the people on it are nice too. they actually told us the shuttlebus goes to holland v.
finished the experiment then we went to look at FROGS. i like the albino frogs. they look like CHICKENS! (: and they are ohsosensitive. haha attention desperadoes! like that AHEM GIRL. omg she's so annoying.
then we went to look at ZEBRA FISHES!(: omg i love the REDDISH ONES. the green ones dont even look green -.- ellie and i are so lousy. everyone understand what the guy says except us. then when ellie asks me anything, my response is always I DON'T KNOW. hahaha!
